New Delhi: How to generate sbi green pin: If you also have a debit card of SBI, then you no longer need to go anywhere to generate its PIN i.e. you can generate this PIN right from home. This pin is also called Green Pin. The bank has taken this step keeping in mind the convenience of its customers. Having a Green PIN does not require employees to maintain an ATM PIN, instead, they can be used for other operational benefits. Let us tell you how you can generate.

SBI tweeted that customers can generate debit card PIN or green PIN through our toll-free IVR system. In this video, easy steps are given, through which you can create PIN. For this, you have to call the toll free number 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800 from your registered mobile number.

This is how you can generate PIN of SBI Debit Card:

  • You have to first call the toll free number from your registered mobile number.
  • When the call is made, you have to press 2 for ATM / Debit Card related services
  • Now press 1 for pin generation.
  • When calling from a registered mobile number, IVR will ask you to press 1 or press 2 to talk to the customer agent.
  • IVR will ask you to enter the last 5 digits of your ATM card.
  • To confirm the last 5 digits, 1 has to be pressed.
  • If you miss something, press 2 again to re-enter the last 5 digits of the ATM card.
  • After this you will be asked to enter the last 5 digits of your account number.
  • If the digits entered are correct, press 1 or press 2 to re-enter the last 5 digits of the account number.
  • Now you have to enter the year of your birth.
  • Your green PIN will be generated after completing this process.

PIN can also be changed through SMS
Apart from this, you can also generate your PIN through SMS. Send you an SMS from your registered mobile number to ‘PIN CCCC AAAA to 567676’ where CCCC is the last 4 digits of the ATM card number and AAAA is the last 4 digits of the bank account number.

Now an OTP will come on your registered mobile number. You have to go to SBI ATM to change your debit card PIN. This OTP is valid for only two days, so go to the ATM as soon as possible.
