Referring to the recent lapse in security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab, Delhi Police officials said that the force is more prepared so that no such incident takes place in the national capital. Republic Day will now be celebrated every year from 23 January instead of 24. It includes the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose.
