New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind hosted an At-Home reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening on the occasion of 74th Independence Day.
This time Frontline Corona Warriors had been invited as special guests. They include doctors, nurses, heath workers, police personnel and sanitation workers. The President saluted the Corona Warriors for their exceptional service being rendered during COVID-19 period.
Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla were present on the occasion.
Besides, the event was also attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and other dignitaries.
