New Delhi: The schedule for the main examination of UPPSC has been released. The main examination of PCS-2021 will be held from 23 to 27 March in Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Ghaziabad. According to the program released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Saturday, the examination will be held in two shifts from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. Jagdish, Secretary, UP Public Service Commission has given this information.
According to UPPSC, there will be a question paper of General Hindi and Essay on 23rd March. At the same time, on March 24, there will be General Studies first and General Studies second question paper. Whereas on March 25, there will be General Studies III and General Studies IV question paper. Apart from this, on March 27, there will be optional subject first and elective subject second question paper.

7688 candidates were successful
Let us inform you that 7688 candidates were declared successful in the result of the preliminary examination released on December 1 last year for recruitment to 678 posts of PCS. After this, the commission had decided to conduct the main examination from January 28 to 31, but it was postponed due to the new variant of coronavirus, Omicron. Now, this exam will be conducted from 23rd to 27th March. At the same time, there will be two sections in all the question papers of optional subjects, in which question number one from section one and question number five from section two will be compulsorily solved by the candidates. Apart from this, in both the question papers of Hindi, Urdu, and Sanskrit language/literature, ‘Special Instructions’ will be written in the English language along with the language of the subject concerned.

These days, after the release of the answer keys of the preliminary examination of PCS-2019 and PCS-2020 by UPPSC, now the demand for the release of cutoff marks and mark sheets of both these examinations has gained momentum. Although the expectation of release of cutoff and mark sheet of the preliminary examination is less, candidates are now preparing to go to court.
