Los Angeles: The British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) has announced a new date for the film’s award ceremony in 2021. Now the ceremony will be held on 11 April. The decision comes in the wake of the Corona virus epidemic after the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences changed the Oscar program from 28 February to 15 April. Actually the BAFTA-2021 program was earlier scheduled to be held on 14 February, which has now been extended. In a statement, BAFTA said that further information related to the ceremony will be released later this year.
