His samples were collected and sent to the National Institute of Virology for testing. According to the World Health Organization, the monkeypox virus has been confirmed in 63 countries across the world so far. As of 12 July, 9,200 cases of monkeypox have been reported in these 63 countries. The world is troubled due to the rapidly increasing cases. The World Health Organization is soon going to hold an emergency meeting regarding this in which it will be decided whether to declare monkeypox as a global health emergency or not. Although last month the WHO refused to declare it a health emergency, but the speed with which the cases are increasing has forced the WHO to think again.
