According to Grimes, the 3 words of the baby girl’s name Siderl are pronounced ‘sigh-deer-ee-el’. This is the Elven spelling of the word sidereal. This means the exact time of the universe, the time of star and deep space, which is different from Earth. Apart from this Sideræl has another meaning. It is also dedicated to Galadriel, his favorite character from Grimes’ favorite movie Lord of the Rings.
Grimes said that she wanted to name her daughter Odysseus Musk. But, later he and Elon Musk decided to name the daughter Exa Dark Sideræl. Elon and Grimes were in the news for naming their first son X A-12.
