Indore: The Municipal Corporation on Tuesday launched a new song for the fifth time in the cleanliness survey, in the voice of famous singer Shaan. The trophy awarded to the winner was also unveiled during the event in the presence of distinguished guests along with the launch of the Plastic Premier League (PPL), Mera Bag-Meri Reusable Kit. During the program held at Ravindra Natyagriha, Corporation Administrator Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma said that I asked Pratibha Pal, the Municipal Commissioner, why the song is sung with pride every year, so he told that Shaan’s song is lucky for Indore.
The divisional commissioner said that every year a new song is played in the corporation’s vehicles. Every year, officers and employees of the corporation are engaged in cleanliness work. Due to media and social media, public awareness of cleanliness has spread and it is not possible to be number one in cleanliness without the citizens of the city. At the event, cricketers Amay Khorasia and Naman Ojha also congratulated the corporation team for their efforts. The corporator said that the PPL competition would be of 45 days. PPL team will collect garbage from every zone. The team that collected as much plastic will be awarded the trophy.
