Gwalior: Uday Cheetah Died, another cheetah brought from South Africa in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, died during treatment after falling ill.

Madhya Pradesh’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) JS Chauhan said, “During inspection this morning, a cheetah brought from South Africa had a bent neck and was not raising its head. After this, the veterinarians treating him alerted the senior officials and he was taken out of the big enclosure for treatment. Unfortunately, this leopard died at four in the evening.

Last month, a female cheetah named Shasha died
Uday is the second cheetah to die as part of the Big Cats reintroduction program. It is noteworthy that last month, among the eight cheetahs brought from Namibia, a female cheetah named Shasha died due to kidney failure. She was reportedly suffering from kidney problems and dehydration.
