New Delhi: A SpiceJet aircraft flying from Mumbai airport to Kandala in Gujarat was stopped from taking off safely following a warning signal. The flight company gave this information on Thursday.
A senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said the directorate has started a probe into the matter. This is at least the ninth incident of a technical snag in a SpiceJet aircraft in the last 40 days.
A day earlier, the DGCA ordered SpiceJet not to operate more than 50 percent of its flights for eight weeks to ensure “safe and reliable transport service”.
