
Kanker: Police has got a big success in Maharashtra province adjoining Kanker district of Chhattisgarh. During an encounter here, the soldiers claimed to have killed 5 Naxalites. Two women are also among the killed Naxalites. According to the information, an encounter between Maoists and force personnel took place in the forest of Khobrameda under Malewada Kurkheda police station area of Gadchiroli area, adjacent to Bastar Kanker district. Gadchiroli Maharashtra Deputy AIG Sandeep Patil has confirmed the encounter. He said that accurate information was received from intelligence sources that Naxalites are present in large numbers during TCOC like every year in Khobrameda forest.
On the basis of information, a squad of C-60 commandos, headed by ASP Manish Kalwania, was dispatched for the spot, which was in operation for three days. Once on Saturday, there was an encounter with the Naxalites for half an hour and the Naxalites escaped. After this, on Monday, again about 60 to 70 minutes of encounter took place. On seeing the soldiers falling heavily, the Naxalites escaped towards the dense forest. During the search of the incident, police found the bodies of 5 Naxalites and a large quantity of Naxalite materials and sophisticated weapons have been recovered from the spot. Naxalites killed have also been identified.

These Naxalites killed
Police claim that among the killed Naxalites, Bhaskar Michami is a DVC member, Asmita, Amar, Sukhdev, and Sujatha. All the Naxalites are being told about the big cadre. The Naxalites killed in the encounter are hardcore Naxalites, which can have a major impact on the Naxalite organization. According to the police, there was no loss to the C60 commandos in this encounter and all the soldiers are safe. It is being said to take such action against Naxalites even further.
