New Delhi: Cases of coronavirus infection are declining in the country, but rising cases in some states are raising concerns of the Union Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, according to the data released by the Ministry (MoHFW) on Tuesday, 29,163 new cases of COVID-19 infection have come to light during the last 24 hours, i.e. from 8 am to 8 am on Monday. During this time 40791 people recovered and 449 people died. The number of active cases has decreased by 12077 during this period.
It is also worth noting here that the number of corona infections in India for the first time after 125 days, i.e. July 15, has been below 30 thousand. This is the third consecutive day in terms of deaths, when it has been below 500. In Maharashtra, which has become the biggest hotspot of Corona in the country, two and a half thousand new cases have been registered, which is the lowest since June 10. Meanwhile, the number of patients recovering from Covid-19 is also increasing and this is the reason why India has now reached the sixth position in terms of active cases after USA, France, Italy, Belgium and Russia.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are currently a total of 8,874,290 cases in the country, of which 5.26 per cent are active, 93.27 per cent are fine or discharged and 1.47 per cent have died. According to the latest data, there are currently 4,53,401 active cases in the country, while 82,90,370 patients have recovered. The death toll from Covid-19 in the country has reached 1,30,519. Meanwhile, 8,44,382 people were examined on Monday, with ICMR stating that 12,76,42,907 people have been examined till November 16.

In Chhattisgarh, 1,110 new patients of Covid-19 emerged
Meanwhile, 1,110 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Chhattisgarh during the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of people infected with the virus in the state has increased to 2,11,644. In the state, 17 more infected people have died in this period, including 2,604 people in Chhattisgarh so far. In the state, 140 people have been discharged from hospitals in the state on Monday after being free of infection, while 1,174 infected people have completed the period of home isolation.
There were 3,797 new cases of coronavirus infection in Delhi on Monday, bringing the total to more than 4.89 lakh. This information was given by the authorities. The infection killed 99 more patients, bringing the death toll to 7,713, officials said.
According to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi Health Department, the infection rate in the city stood at 12.73 percent amidst the festive season and rising pollution levels. At present, 40,128 patients of Covid-19 are undergoing treatment in Delhi. The bulletin states that the total number of infection cases has risen to 4,89,202.
517 new cases of Kovid-19 in Bihar
During the last 24 hours in Bihar, five more patients infected with coronavirus have died, adding that 1,189 people have died in this epidemic in the state so far.
Meanwhile, 517 new patients of Covid-19 have come forward during this period. With this, the number of infected people in Bihar has increased to 2,27,433 so far.

1,157 new cases of Covid-19 in Karnataka, death of 12 patients
In Karnataka, 1,157 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported on Monday and 12 patients died. With this, the total number of infected people in the state reached 8,62,804, while the death toll rose to 11,541.
Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar tweeted, “Today 1,157 new cases of Kovid-19 came to light and 2,188 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery. So far 8,25,14 people in the state have been freed from this infection and the rate of infection has increased to 95.63 percent. According to the department, 26,103 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state. 730 of them are in ICU. In Bengaluru, 597 new cases of infection were reported on Monday.
There were 3,012 new cases of coronavirus infection in West Bengal on Monday. With this, the total number of infected people in the state increased to 4,34,563. This information is given in the bulletin issued by the health department. The bulletin states that with the death of 53 more patients, the death toll in the state has risen to 7,714.
Meanwhile, 4,376 people became infected free with which the rate of infection free in the state increased to 91.81 percent. Apart from this, the infection rate in the state was 8.27 percent. According to the bulletin, 27,897 people are currently undergoing treatment in the state.
1725 new cases of coronavirus in Tamil Nadu, 17 deaths
November 16 (Language) 1725 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Tamil Nadu on Monday while 17 more died. According to the health department bulletin, the total number of infections in the state has reached 7,59,916 while the death toll has risen to 11,495.
According to the bulletin, 497 cases have been confirmed from Chennai, 174 from Coimbatore, and 118 from Chengalpet. A total of 2,09,167 cases have been reported in the state capital. The bulletin states that 2,384 patients have been discharged from hospitals. Since then, the number of patients recovering from the infection has risen to 7,32,656. There are 15,765 people undergoing treatment for the infection in the state
In Haryana, 2,153 new cases of coronavirus infection came to light on Monday, in which the number of infected people in the state rose to 2,02,027 and the death toll in the state rose to 2,038 with 19 more deaths due to the disease.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the state health department, seven patients died in Hisar, four in Bhiwani, three in Gurgaon, two each in Panchkula and Fatehabad, and one in Sonepat. The bulletin states that there are 648 new cases of Kovid-19 in Faridabad district of the state, 546 in Gurgaon, 134 in Sonipat, and 130 in Rewari. It said that 19,342 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state. So far, 1,80,647 people have been discharged in the state after recovery. The recovery rate of the patients is 89.42 percent.
926 new cases of Covid-19 in Gujarat; 1,040 recovered
Gujarat received 926 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total number of infected people in the state to 1,89,236. This information was given by the state health department. The death toll in the state rose to 3,808 with five more deaths from the disease, the department said.
1,040 patients have been cured in a day in the state. The department said in a release that the number of people who have recovered in the state has reached 1,72,972, bringing the recovery rate of patients to 91.41 percent. The total number of samples tested so far in the state has increased to 68,76,665. The department informed that 12,456 patients are now undergoing treatment in Gujarat.
597 new cases of coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh, two deaths
In Madhya Pradesh, 597 new cases of coronavirus infection came to light on Monday and with this, the total number of people found infected with this virus in the state till now reached 1,84,524. Two more deaths have been confirmed from the disease in the last 24 hours in the state, bringing the death toll to 3,092.
A health official from Madhya Pradesh said, “During the last 24 hours, the death of one patient in Bhopal and Harda has been confirmed due to the coronavirus infection in the state.” The highest number of 714 deaths have been reported in Indore, while 499 in Bhopal, 98 in Ujjain, 128 in Sagar, 213 in Jabalpur, and 169 in Gwalior. The rest of the deaths have occurred in other districts. “
243 new cases of coronavirus in Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand, the Covid-19 epidemic was confirmed in 243 new patients on Monday while nine other patients succumbed to the epidemic. According to the bulletin issued by the state health department, with the arrival of 243 new patients, the number of corona virus-infected in the state has increased to 68,458.
