Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. This information has been given in the news of Israeli media on Monday.

Hebrew-language media quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying that Netanyahu and Yossi Cohen, head of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, had left for the Saudi city of Niom on Sunday to meet with Salman.

According to reports, Salman was there to hold talks with US Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo. The Israeli prime minister’s office did not respond to a request for comment. Significantly, Israel has recently signed agreements with two Gulf countries, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
