New Delhi: Turkey’s foreign ministry has condemned a US report on human trafficking that criticized it for providing operations, equipment, and financial support to armed militias recruiting child soldiers in Syria. The report says that Turkey is among 15 countries that used child soldiers. The statement also accused the US of double standards and hypocrisy, pointing to US support for Syrian Kurdish militants.

This report was released on Friday by the US State Department. Turkey’s reaction also came on the same day. Pakistan is also included in the name of other countries included in this list. He too has denied it. Pakistan’s Foreign Department has called it a factual error. At the same time, he has urged the US to review these allegations.

Turkey’s foreign ministry said in a statement late Friday that it completely denies the claim and that it has a clean record. The statement also cited a United Nations report that talked about the recruitment and exploitation of children under the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The US State Department cited Turkey and 14 other countries for the use of child soldiers. This was the first time a NATO ally was placed on such a list. Let us tell you that when America puts a country on this list, then that country is deprived of many American programs.

At the same time, Pakistan says that there was no discussion with any organization before publishing this report on behalf of America.
