New Delhi: Xiaomi’s Redmi 12 series has achieved a remarkable milestone in India, as it has sold 3 million units within a few weeks of its launch. The Redmi 12 series consists of two variants: the Redmi 12 4G and the Redmi 12 5G. Both variants offer great features and performance at budget-friendly prices.

The Redmi 12 4G comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It has a quad rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top and has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The Redmi 12 5G is the more advanced variant that supports 5G connectivity. It has the same display, storage, and camera specifications as the 4G variant, but it has a different processor and battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Gen 2 processor, which is the first 4-series chipset to support 5G. It also has a slightly bigger 5100mAh battery that also supports 18W fast charging.

Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G

The Redmi 12 series is available in three color options: Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue. The Redmi 12 4G is priced at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 11,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The Redmi 12 5G is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and Rs 12,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. These prices make the Redmi 12 series one of the most affordable 5G phones in the Indian market.
