In this phone, the company has used Vapor Chamber LiquidCool technology, JBL speakers have been used in this phone. This smartphone gaming edition is based on Android 11 which works on MIUI 12.5.

- The 8GB + 256GB model of Redmi K40 has been priced at CNY 2,399 in China i.e. around 27,600 INR.
- Redmi K40’s 12GB + 128GB smartphone model has been priced at CNY 2,399 in China i.e. around 31,100 INR.
- The price of 12GB + 256GB model of Redmi K40 in China is CNY 2,699 i.e. around 31,100 INR.
Xiaomi has also added Bruce Lee Special Edition to this gaming smartphone. This special edition phone offers 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which is priced at CNY 2799 i.e. around 32,300 INR in China.
