These institutes will also be able to issue driving licenses to people who have passed training in their centers. Now you will not have to go to the offices of the Transport Department for the Learning License. However, for registration of vehicles (RC), you will have to go to the RTO for now. The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has issued a notice in this regard. However, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) will continue to issue driving licenses as before.

Especially in recent times, states and union territories like UP, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Delhi-NCR, and Jharkhand have implemented new rules for the registration of learning licenses and vehicles. At the same time, in some states, now only online applications are being accepted.

Since the Corona period, the Transport Department of almost all the states of the country has changed the system of depositing fees for learning licenses. Now under the new system, money has to be deposited for the learning license as soon as the slot is booked. As soon as you deposit the money, the date for the test is also available according to your convenience.
For license-related services, one has to go to the website of the Transport Department and click on Driving License Services. You will have to give more personal information along with your DL number while filling the form. More important documents related to its driving license will have to be uploaded to the website. All your documents will be verified after checking the biometric details at the RTO office. After this, your license will be renewed.
