New Delhi: In a grand ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, senior BJP leader Narendra Modi took the oath of office as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time, following the National Democratic Alliance’s resounding victory in the 18th Lok Sabha elections. The oath was administered by President Draupadi Murmu amidst an audience of notable personalities spanning the realms of business, cinema, and public service.

The event was a star-studded affair, featuring prominent Bollywood actors such as Shahrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Rajinikanth, who joined the ranks of industrial magnates like Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. The ceremony saw a mix of glitz and gravitas, underscoring Modi’s widespread appeal across diverse sections of Indian society.

Bollywood’s celebrated stars Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Anupam Kher, and Vikrant Massey were also in attendance, adding a touch of cinematic glamour to the proceedings.

Among the business elite, Mukesh Ambani arrived with his sons Anant and Akash, as well as his son-in-law Anand Piramal. Gautam Adani, another titan of industry, was accompanied by his wife Preeti, and brother Rajesh Adani.

The ceremony was further dignified by the presence of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and his wife, alongside former Presidents Ram Nath Kovind and Pratibha Patil. The gathering also included several esteemed religious leaders, reflecting the broad spectrum of support for the new government.
