Ujjain: The work of the Mahakal Loka of Ujjain has been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Mahakal Corridor on October 11.Total cost of this corridor is Rs 793 crore. The Mahakal corridor has been built in two phases. This corridor is now completely ready. PM Modi will inaugurate it on October 11.

PM Modi will reach Ujjain on the evening of October 11
The police administration is also alert about PM Modi’s visit to Ujjain and for this, a helipad located on the police line is being expanded. PM Modi’s helicopter will land on this helipad. On October 11, PM Modi will inaugurate the first phase of the Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor costing Rs 856 crore. According to the scheduled program, PM Modi will land at Indore airport and then will reach Ujjain on the evening of October 11 in a helicopter. Along with PM Modi, Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also reach Ujjain by helicopter.

The Shivraj government is celebrating the launch event of ‘Mahakal Lok’ in Ujjain as a big festival or rather a festival. PM Modi will inaugurate the Mahakal Corridor in ‘Amrit Siddhi Yoga’. Shri Mahakal Lok has been made at a cost of Rs 856 crore.

5 days festival in Ujjain
The festival will be celebrated for 5 days in Ujjain at the time of the launch of ‘Mahakal Lok’. Painting work is being done in 300 temples of Ujjain. There will also be lights here. Collector Ashish Singh said that about 300 temples of the city, including the major temples of 609 panchayats of the district, would be equipped with cleanliness, lights, and electricity.

Will invite door-to-door with yellow rice in Ujjain
On the occasion of the launch of the project, major temples will be decorated in all the districts of the state including Ujjain. The Chief Minister directed that the inauguration of the Mahakal Corridor is a matter of reverence. In this, an invitation letter will be given to every family in the city. There will be lights in all houses and shops. There will be a special decorations at major intersections and roads. Rangoli will also be made at important places.

The Collector informed that the people of the village along with the country and the state will witness the historic moment of the inauguration of Mahakal Lok. For the live telecast of the program, instructions have been given to do cleanliness, and paint-painting in a major temple of 609 panchayats as well as to make decorations and electric lights in the temple. Work has also started in the temples of Gram Panchayats. LEDs will be installed in K Ramghat and Narsingh Ghat areas in the city so that people can watch the telecast of the program.

199 idols installed
The Mahakal Corridor of Ujjain has been built in two phases. A total of 199 idols of Lord Shiva and events related to him have been installed in the corridor. A total of Rs 793 crore has been spent on the construction of this corridor. For the construction, the central government had given Rs 271 crore, apart from this Rs 421 crore was given by the Madhya Pradesh government. Here devotees will be able to know about the stories related to Lord Shiva. Here the Sapta Rishi, Navagraha Mandal, Tripurasura slaughter, the idol of Lord Shiva in the lotus pool, the statues of various parts of Shiva Tandava, and the huge statue of Nandi will be seen here. By scanning the QR code in the idols, you will be able to know about them.

Special laser show
According to the information received, on October 11, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Mahakal Corridor, a laser show will be shown there. Fireworks will also be done on this occasion.

Enthusiasm among people
The residents of Ujjain are very excited about the opening of the Mahakal Loka in their hometown soon. He says he visits the old overbridge near his house almost every night to catch a glimpse of a “great new project” and take selfies. There are many locals like Sharma who appreciate the mesmerizing view from the ramp of the Hari Phatak overbridge. The sight of the 108 ornate sandstone pillars bearing the ornamental trident and the posture of Lord Shiva, visible from here, attracts the attention of the people.

The fountains near the idols of God and the gleaming murals add to its beauty. This excitement of admiring the project site from afar has grown in the last few weeks. People’s craze for ‘flyover selfies’ has increased after the first meeting of the Madhya Pradesh cabinet in this ‘holy city’ last month.
