New Delhi: According to the big news of the morning, the record of hoisting 78 thousand national flags simultaneously in the Genius Book of World Records has now been registered in the name of India. On 23rd April, 78 thousand 220 tricolors were hoisted in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Bhojpur district of Bihar in the Vijayotsav of Veer Kunwar Singh. Earlier these records were in the name of Pakistan. Then 56 thousand Pakistani flags were waved there.

To elaborate, on Saturday 23rd April, India created a Guinness Book of World Records by waving 78,220 flags simultaneously at the ‘Veer Kunwar Singh Vijayotsav’ event in Bhojpur, Bihar. The effort was also noticed by representatives of the Guinness Book of World Records, and attendees at the event were asked to wear bands for physical identification. Thus, in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, 78,220 people hoisted the national flag together and set a new record.

However, before that, Pakistan had set a world record almost 18 years ago, with 56,000 Pakistanis waving their national flag at an event in Lahore. Now India has reached far above this and has registered this record in its name.
