New Delhi: A million tonnes of steel waste is generated every year from different steel plants in the country. Now the situation has become such that there is a heap like a mountain of steel waste. But now the central government is also using this steel waste in the development works of the country. After long research, the country’s first steel road (Steel Road in Gujarat) has been constructed in Gujarat. The road made of steel waste is of 6 lanes.

According to the information, engineers and research team have made such a 6-lane road of only one kilometer long for trial, but it is being told that now the highs being built in different states of the country will also be made from steel waste.

Let us tell you that after a long process in making a steel road, the first ballast was made from steel waste, and then this ballast was used to build the road. About a kilometer-long road near Hazira Port in Gujarat was completely damaged due to heavy trucks. After this, the government used steel waste to repair the road as part of the experiment.
