Ranchi: A cabinet meeting was held on Friday under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In this, a total of 37 proposals were approved. The cabinet has decided to give dhoti or loongi to the beneficiary families of the National Food Security Act twice a year and a sari at a subsidized rate of Rs 10 per family.

Sona Sobaran dhoti saree distribution scheme will be availed only this year. 57.1 lakh families of the state will get benefits from this scheme. The state government has already made a budgetary provision of 200 crores under this head. Dhoti-lungi and saree will be distributed through PDS shops. For which panchayat or ward level camp will be set up.

The cabinet has decided to make 80 excellent schools at district level and 4416 model schools at block and panchayat level under Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya Scheme. This school will be ready in five years, on which 1085 crore will be spent.
