According to news agency ANI, due to heavy rains in UP, the low-lying areas have been flooded due to the rise in the water level of the river Ganga in Banaras. CM Yogi Adityanath himself is reaching here today to take stock of the situation that has arisen due to the floods. According to the report, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will also distribute relief items in the relief camps.
At the same time, there is also news that UP CM Yogi will go to Ghazipur on Friday after staying in Banaras tonight. The district administration is on alert mode since the news of the Chief Minister’s arrival. Arrangements are being made in the flood relief camps. Flood water has entered many districts including Varanasi. Due to which Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Chandauli, Ballia, and Ghazipur of Purvanchal have also come under the grip of floods.
