California: Pentagon Papers leaker Daniel Ellsberg died on Friday at his home in Kensington, California. The family confirmed his death in a statement. According to the information given by his family, he breathed his last at the age of 92. He leaked the documents of the US Defense Ministry Pentagon about the Vietnam War.
Daniel’s son Robert Ellsberg said on Twitter that my dear father, Daniel Ellsberg, passed away this morning, June 16 at 1:24 am, four months after pancreatic cancer. His family was with him while he breathed his last. He did not feel any pain and breathed his last peacefully at home.
