Charging the BYD Seal is a breeze, thanks to its compatibility with DC fast charging at speeds up to 150kW. This allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in a mere 37 minutes. Alternatively, the 11kW onboard AC charger can fully charge the Seal in approximately 8.6 hours, ensuring it’s ready for your next journey.
Performance is at the heart of the BYD Seal, with the Dynamic variant’s electric motor delivering 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, enabling a swift 0-100 km/h sprint in just 7.5 seconds. The Premium variant ups the ante with 308 bhp and 360 Nm of torque, reducing the 0-100 km/h time to 5.9 seconds. The Performance variant, with its dual-motor setup, generates a robust 523 bhp and a peak torque of 670 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h in an exhilarating 3.8 seconds.

The Seal’s design language is a nod to the futuristic Ocean-X Concept, featuring a sleek split lighting design and four LED DRLs adorning the front bumper. Safety is paramount, as evidenced by its 5-star Euro NCAP rating and the inclusion of ADAS technology. The Seal also comes with a suite of luxury features, including a drive selector, driving mode scroll wheel, and dual wireless chargers, enhancing the overall driving experience.
