The price of Amazon Prime has increased from today (December 14). The company has made the price of its own plan expensive by 50%. The new price of the company plan has come into effect from today. Amazon Prime membership was earlier priced at Rs 999 annually, but after increasing the price, its price has gone up to Rs 1499. The company has also revised its monthly plan and quarterly plan. From today, the company’s base plan has been reduced to Rs 179, which was earlier Rs 129.
At the same time, the price of its quarter pack was Rs 329 earlier, which has now become Rs 459 in India. The new price of the plan will not have any effect on existing Prime members. The new price will be applicable only after the validity of their Prime membership plan is over.
Amazon Prime said on its website, ‘Existing Prime members can continue their membership for as long as their membership plan is at the current price. However, once the price changes, you can choose to renew your membership at the new price.
