New Delhi: The country’s state-run airline, Air India, has launched a spectacular scheme to attract senior citizens. Under the scheme, if any Senior Citizens travel by Air India flight, they will get 50 percent discount in Basic Fare. The Aviation Ministry (Ministry of Civil Aviation) said that this scheme of Air India will be applicable on all routes across the country. At the same time, for this, the senior citizen passenger will have to book the ticket at least 3 days in advance.

These include photo identity card with the date of birth of the passenger for identification. The ministry said that if the passenger does not have an identity card, then he will not be given a discount on the ticket.
