Indore: The number of infected is increasing every day. On Wednesday, 584 new ones were found, while two people died. This is the third largest number of corona infections ever recorded. Earlier, 586 patients were exposed on one day on 22 November 2020 and 595 on 1 December 2020. According to the bulletin issued on Wednesday, a total of 4519 suspects were investigated. The suspects got infected every seventh case. Due to this, the infection rate reached close to 13 percent. So far 9 lakh 4 thousand 178 samples have been investigated. Of these, 65 thousand 957 patients have been found infected. So far, 949 infected patients have died from Karona. On Wednesday, 299 patients were discharged for recovery. At present, 2523 patients are being treated in different hospitals. A day earlier on Tuesday, 477 corona were found infected.
There will be strict restrictions, there will not be a total lockdown: Collector
The administration is vigilant about the rising corona infection in Indore city. On Wednesday, Collector Manish Singh said about the current conditions that we have enough beds in hospitals as of now, although patients from nearby districts have not started coming. At present, there is no such situation as total lockdown in the city. To prevent infection, we have to put some restrictions. The collector said that 30 to 50 patients are going to hospitals every day. There is also a discharge policy for these patients, so that there is room for other patients. But we have to put some more restrictions so that there is no needless crowd of people. But we will not take steps like Total Lockdown or shutdown of industrial units.
If people become aware now, then the situation will not be like last year
Making people aware. Masks of those who do not wear masks correctly are also becoming invoices. People have to understand responsibility. Only then will you be able to beat Corona. There are 244 vaccinations in the district and more than 150 places in the city. We have the capacity to apply 50 thousand doses daily. We will appeal to people to get vaccinated. Antibody begins to form within 15 days of the first dose. DIG Manish Kapoor said that there is a need to bring awareness. If you become aware now, then the situation will not be like last year. This time is very important. the collector has given special instructions:
- Private hospitals cannot take much money
- Small children are becoming virus carriers, infection is occurring to their relatives.
- Are not in favor of discontinuing outdoor activities.
- Water parks operating outside the district will also be closed.
- Talked to the railway for passengers coming from Maharashtra. Screening is not possible. 20-22 tables will have to be installed. Staff is engaged in vaccination, sampling.
- Instructions will be issued regarding the Ger coming out on Rangpanchami.
- Private hospitals may not charge much money.
