Jodhpur: A major rail accident took place in Pali, Rajasthan. The bogies of the Bandra-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express derailed. According to the report of Ani, the CPRO of North Western Railway said that 8 to 11 coaches of the Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express train derailed between the Rajkiawas-Bomdara section of Jodhpur division at 3.27 am today. After this an accident relief train was sent by the Railways from Jodhpur.
Giving information about the incident, Captain Shashi Kiran, CPRO, North Western Railway said that at around 3:30 am, information was received that Suryanagari Express derailed between Rajkiawas and Bondara. Around 11 coaches have been affected by this. But the information of any casualty has not been received yet. Higher officials have reached the spot. So, if media reports are to be believed then 3 passengers have also been injured in this incident.

He further said that it is also being continuously monitored from the control room. Buses have been arranged to take the affected passengers to their destinations. Apart from this, the railway has also issued a helpline number. From which relatives can collect information.

Significantly, a passenger told about this incident that within 5 minutes of departure from Marwar Junction, a sound of vibration was heard inside the train and after 2-3 minutes the train stopped. We got down and saw that at least 8 sleeper class coaches were derailed. The ambulance arrived within 15-20 minutes.
