New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed to provide high-level Z+ category security to businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family members. Apart from India, the court has given instructions to provide Z+ category security in foreign countries as well. However, the entire cost of this will be borne by the Ambani family only.
Tell that till now the Union Home Ministry used to bear the cost of this security, but now the Ambani family will have to bear this cost. Z+ category security costs 40 to 45 lakh rupees per month.
It has become the first industrialist family to get Z+ category security. Earlier this security was not provided to any industrialist. Mukesh Ambani and his family were given Z-category security in 2013. It has now been changed to Z+.
Ambani had received threats from the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen in 2013. After this the then Manmohan Singh government provided him Z and Y+ security to his wife Nita Ambani.
It is notable that in 2021, a car with 20 gelatin sticks was also recovered outside Mukesh Ambani’s residence Antilia in Mumbai. At the same time, a note was also found in which Mukesh and his wife Nita Ambani were threatened with death. At the same time, some number plates were also found inside another SUV found near his residence Antilia and these number plates were also found to be similar to the number plates of vehicles engaged in Ambani’s security.
