New Delhi: Flood-like conditions have arisen due to continuous rains in many parts of the country. The Meteorological Department had issued a warning that in the next 24 hours, ie (Sunday), there may be rain in many states of the country. There is a possibility of rain in many states within 24 hours. According to the department, there is a possibility of rain with lightning at different places in South Rajasthan, Bihar, West Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand. According to information received from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi, Greater Light intensity rains will occur at different places in Noida, Noida, Dadri. On the other hand, giving information on the Central Water Commission said that the Banswara district of Rajasthan received heavy to very heavy rainfall till 08:30 pm today. States like Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh have been flooded. There is an area of low pressure and very low pressure in the northwestern areas of Madhya Pradesh which is likely to go towards Rajasthan. Neemuch, Mandsaur, and Ratlam districts will receive heavy rains, and the rest of Madhya Pradesh will receive light to moderate rains with cloudy, strong wind.
Chance of heavy rains in these states
The IMD also forecasts a cloudy sky with moderate rains in Bengaluru usually till August 26. In another forecast, the department has predicted heavy rainfall in Odisha from August 24 to August 26. There is a possibility of very heavy rains from 24 August to 26 August in Odisha.
Alert issued for Rajasthan too
The monsoon has been very kind for the last one week in the state. Monsoon is expected to be more active in the coming days. The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of excess rainfall during this period in about half a dozen districts of the state.
Estimates for the next 24 hours
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur in many areas of Delhi, Greater Noida, Noida and Dadri. Moderate to heavy rains with few heavy spells may occur over Gangetic Southwest Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rains may occur over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka during the next 24 hours. Light rains may occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Kerala Telangana western Uttar Pradesh, and parts of Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. During the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains with light to moderate rains along with parts of southeastern Rajasthan, Konkan Goa, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Assam. According to the Meteorological Center, partly cloudy clouds will prevail almost daily, but there is no possibility of heavy rains for a week. If it is there will be light rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 36 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
During the last 24 hours, heavy rain activities were also seen in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
