Focus on Police Conduct and Integrity
To prevent any disturbances and uphold the sanctity of the Maha Kumbh, the Uttar Pradesh government is meticulously selecting police personnel for duty. Only those with impeccable character and conduct, who abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian food, will be deployed. This directive, issued from the DGP headquarters to all commissionerates and ranges, emphasizes the importance of integrity and public image among the police force.
Age and Health Criteria for Police Deployment

Policemen assigned to the Maha Kumbh must be under 40 years old, while Chief Constables should not exceed 50 years, and Sub-Inspectors and Inspectors should be below 55 years. Furthermore, officers who are residents of Prayagraj or are physically and mentally unwell are excluded from duty.
