New Delhi: Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of BJP leader and Tiktok star Sonali Phogat. Goa Police have arrested Phogat’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Vasi. In Sonali Phogat’s post-mortem, it was seen that there were injury marks on her body. On the other hand, Sonali Phogat’s family alleged that the murder was not natural but murder. Sonali Phogat’s autopsy report has been received and it has been clarified that the death was not natural. It is seen that there are injury marks on Sonali’s body. Further investigation is on and the exact cause of death is being ascertained.
Tiktok star Sonali has been fielded by BJP from Hisar. Sonali Phogat came into the limelight because of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. she has been declared brought dead by a team of doctors at Anjuna Hospital in North Goa on 23 August. Sonali Phogat is always in discussion due to many controversies. A video went viral on social media in June 2020. In this video, Sonali Phogat was seen slapping an officer. There was a lot of ruckus on social media regarding this controversy. After this, Sonali Phogat lodged a police complaint against her sister and brother. Because of this, she came into the limelight. After this, she had been in the headlines for the suspicious death of her husband. In the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ house, she said that he likes Ali Goni. There was a lot of debate in the house regarding this.
Sonali Phogat was also embroiled in controversy due to one of her speeches in 2019. During a rally in a village in Hisar, she had asked people to raise slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. He had given a statement that those who do not raise slogans are definitely from Pakistan. After that Sonali Phogat had to apologize for her statement.
