The Scotland-Indian team of Indian scientists will fund research on sensitive coastal areas

London: An international team of Scotland and Indian scientists has joined the Royal Society of Edinburgh to work on managing the natural habitat of ecologically sensitive coastal swamps in India. (RSE).

A team of researchers from the University of Aberdeen and Ahmedabad University in Gujarat, led by scientists from St. Andrews University, will study the mangrove forest, a swamp in the coastal region of India. Under this project, the researcher will look for solutions and suggest new measures for risky coastal natural habitats in India.

“Our study will help address global health, social challenges caused by Project Covid-19,” said Professor Bill Austin, the project’s lead researcher.
