According to the Federal Aviation Administration, it was a Cessna C550 commercial aircraft. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, officers found the burning plane just after 4:15 a.m. Immediately after, the six people on board were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of those killed in the accident have not been made public.
