Mumbai: The romantic comedy film ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is ruling the box office with its sweet and quirky love story. The film has received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, who have praised the chemistry and performance of the lead pair. The film has also proved to be a profitable venture, as it has crossed the 50 crore mark in its worldwide collection.
According to the report of SACNILC, a leading trade analyst, ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ has collected Rs 3.75 crore on its fourth day, i.e. Monday, in India. The film had a strong opening of Rs 6.7 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 9.65 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.75 crore on Sunday. The total domestic collection of the film in four days stands at Rs 30.85 crore. The film has also performed well in the overseas market, where it has earned Rs 21.65 crore in three days. The total worldwide collection of the film till Monday is Rs 52.50 crore. The film is expected to cross the 60-crore mark by Tuesday.
The film has an interesting plot, where engineer Aryan falls in love with a girl and proposes to her. However, he soon discovers that she is not a human, but a female robot, who has been programmed to act like a human. This leads to a series of hilarious and emotional situations, as Aryan tries to cope with his unusual love affair.
The film also features veteran actors like Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Rakesh Bedi and Rajesh Kumar in supporting roles. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Ramesh Taurani. The film was released in theatres on February 9, 2024.
