During the event, Swapnil Prakash Phaterpekar, son of Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar, was trying to forcefully take a selfie with Sonu. During this, there was a scuffle. According to the report, the MLA’s son also misbehaved with Sonu’s manager Saira. The video of the case has also surfaced, which is going viral on social media.
Actually, the MLA’s son wanted to go on stage and take a selfie with Sonu Nigam and he started going on stage. Then he asked Sonu’s manager Saira to get off the stage and when Sonu was coming down the stage, he pushed Sonu from the steps of the stage. Sonu went away from the stairs and fell. He has suffered injuries and is admitted to the hospital.
Sonu Nigam also narrated the incident after the incident. According to ANI, Sonu Nigam said, “After the concert, I was coming down the stairs of the stage. Then a man Swapnil Prakash Faterpekar caught me. He pushed Hari and Rabbani who came to save me. Then I fell down the stairs. I have registered a complaint. People should think before forcibly taking selfies.”

Once again, to save Sonu, his friend, and singer Rabbani Khan tried to stop Swapnil. It was then that the assailant pushed Rabbani and he also fell 7 feet away from the stairs.
