This is such a great arrogance of Bangladesh that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has not given time to meet the Indian High Commissioner for the last 4 months. Should such neglectful and abusive behavior be tolerated? Why is our External Affairs Ministry silent about this? Can he not ask the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh about this? In no country, the ambassador of a great democratic country like India is not invited to such a meeting. Even in America, Russia or Britain, there is no such situation that the Ambassador of India wants to meet the President or PM and make him wait for months. After all, what has Sheikh Hasina known for? How would it feel if India too adopts the same neglectful attitude with the High Commissioner of Bangladesh present in Delhi? Not only this, but Bangladesh also did not send any notes showing courtesy of thanking Indian help during the Corona epidemic. Given the attitude of Bangladesh, India should be alert that there is no conspiracy against it!

Great favor

Bangladesh should be grateful to India that it freed Pakistan from the clutches and made it an independent universal nation. This was a unique and unprecedented event in world history. In 1971, India fought Pakistan on 2 fronts simultaneously and defeated it badly and liberated East Pakistan from the inhuman atrocities of General Tikka Khan and his army and created Bangladesh. India itself did not claim even an inch of land there, whereas at the time of partition of the country in 1947, the entire area was in India itself. India handed over power of Bangladesh to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of Sheikh Hasina. If India had not sourced Pakistan’s teeth, then Pakistan dictators General Yahya Khan and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto were prepared to hang Sheikh Mujib. It is noteworthy that during the elections in Pakistan, then former Pakistan leader Mujibur Rahman got much more votes than Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Yahya Khan and Bhutto did not want Bangladeshi Mujib to become the Prime Minister, so he was imprisoned and preparations were being made to punish him.

What was the reason for the war

In East Pakistan (Bangladesh), Pakistani soldiers massively massacred, looted and raped women. Due to this, millions of Bangladeshi fled and started coming to India. This put a huge burden on the Indian economy. The problem has arisen as to where to keep so many refugees and what to feed? The then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi apprised all the countries of the world about this problem and asked Pakistan to explain it. When no one listened to India, war became inevitable. India gave training and weapons to Muktwahini of Bangladesh. Under the leadership of General Sam Manekshaw, India faced Pakistan on both the eastern and western fronts. During this war, the then US President Richard Nixon threatened to send a seventh fleet of his navy to the Bay of Bengal but Indira Gandhi was not deterred. He firmly stated that if the seventh fleet comes, our Vikrant will face it. In this war, General Niazi of Pakistan (who was uncle of the current Pak PM Imran Khan) surrendered to Lt. General Jagjit Singh Arora of India. There were 93,000 Pakistani war prisoners in India’s possession who were later released after the Simla Agreement between Bhutto and Indira Gandhi. There were not so many prisoners of war in World War II.

Mujib’s murder

On 15 August 1975, Mujibur Rahman was killed by an army faction in Bangladesh. After this, there was a long confrontation between Mujib’s daughter Hasina Wajed and Begum Khalida Zia in the politics there. India also adopted a liberal attitude towards Bangladesh in the Farakka Dam Agreement. Despite this, the infiltration of Bangladeshis continued. Bangladeshi illegally settled in various parts of the country including Assam. NRC was implemented to identify these illegal intruders. Infiltrators get help from Bangladesh Rifles. Once, the Bangladesh Rifles surrounded the patrolling BSF soldiers and killed them mercilessly and threw their mutilated bodies into Indian territory.

China pouring

China is bringing India’s neighboring countries under its sphere of influence and there is a conspiracy to surround India from all sides. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh have been helping them in their favor by providing financial assistance and projects. India’s attitude towards Bangladesh has always been supportive. From time to time, India gave him a lot of help, but at this time, by coming under the influence of China, Bangladesh is turning its eyes towards India. Such an attitude needs to be taken seriously.
