Ayodhya: Amid ongoing discussions about water issues at the newly constructed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, has stepped forward to address concerns. His statement aims to dispel rumors and provide clarity regarding the recent waterlogging incidents.

The Electric Pipeline Connection

Nripendra Mishra categorically stated that the water filling the sanctum sanctorum did not result from any structural compromise. Instead, it originated from an electric pipeline within the temple. He emphasized that the construction quality of the revered temple remains uncompromised.

Chief Priest’s Concerns

Chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das had earlier raised an alarm about water leakage during the first rain. Drips from the temple roof and near the idol of Lord Ramlala prompted concerns among the temple priests. Acharya Das attributed this issue to the lack of a proper drainage system.

Political Fallout

The controversy has not escaped political attention. Opposition parties, including the Congress, have seized upon Acharya Satyendra Das’s statement. Congress leader Nitin Agarwal shared a video of the chief priest’s revelation, accusing the BJP of betraying Lord Shri Ram for electoral gain.
