Jerusalem: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas appealed to organize an international conference early next year to initiate a genuine peace process in the region. He made this appeal in his address to the United Nations General Assembly.
Abbas also criticized the recent decision of two Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates, to normalize relations with Israel. He said the agreement signed by the White House earlier this month was in violation of the principles of a just and sustainable solution under international law.
