Ambareesh Kanghe, Vice President (Product), Google Pay said, “Privacy is already a major priority for us. If you do anything on Google Pay, it stays on Google Pay. This is the situation today. Now what we are saying is that we are going to give you control to manage your activity on Google Pay as well. So, if you are doing something on Google Pay, then you will be asked whether according to you, these should be recorded to personalize the services of the app.

Ambareesh gave the example of mobile recharge on Gagool Pay. He told that now users can decide whether this data can be used to give them offers and rewards. He said that users can now remove them by looking at their transaction activity.
