Islamabad: The Anti Terror Court of Lahore has given a major verdict on Friday on 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind and Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi (Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi). Lakhvi has been sentenced to 15 years in the case of supporting terrorism and financial support to terrorism. Also, a fine has also been imposed.
Let me tell you, recently the mastermind of Mumbai attack and Lashkar terrorists Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi was arrested. Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi was arrested for helping terrorists and providing them money. Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, along with Hafiz Saeed, hatched a conspiracy for the 26/11 attack.
Significantly, Lakhvi, the operations commander of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, was named as a global terrorist by the United Nations under the UNSC resolution in 2008 after the Mumbai attacks. During the investigation of Mumbai attack, it was revealed that it was Lakhvi who had prepared the full plan of terrorist attack to Hafiz Saeed.
