New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is all set to unveil the much-anticipated fourth-generation Dzire on November 11, with newly leaked images giving a first look at the sedan’s revamped design. Without any camouflage, the Dzire showcases a refreshed, modern aesthetic, hinting at the automaker’s commitment to redefining one of India’s best-selling subcompact sedans. Since its debut in 2017, the Dzire has been a fan favorite, and the upcoming model looks poised to continue that legacy with updated styling, tech-forward features, and versatile options for Indian consumers.

The Dzire’s new exterior introduces a more dynamic front fascia, featuring a sleek blacked-out grille adorned with chrome accents, sharper headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, and an enhanced bumper for a more assertive look. Its side profile remains similar to its predecessor but adds a touch of sophistication with upgraded alloy wheels. At the rear, the sedan sports smoked LED taillights and an eye-catching chrome strip on the tailgate, bringing an upscale feel to the subcompact sedan category.

Inside, Maruti Suzuki has incorporated several modern touches, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, giving drivers seamless connectivity options. The sedan’s interior also boasts a flat-bottom steering wheel, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and rear air vents for added passenger comfort, setting a new benchmark in the compact sedan segment.

Under the hood, the new Dzire is expected to share a powertrain with the latest Swift model, featuring a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder Z-series engine delivering 80.5 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) for a more versatile driving experience. Maruti Suzuki is also reportedly considering a CNG variant in the future, catering to the growing demand for alternative fuel options among eco-conscious buyers in India.

With its bold design, cutting-edge technology, and fuel-efficient engine options, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is anticipated to make waves in the Indian subcompact sedan market and continue the legacy of its popular predecessor.
