
New Delhi: Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Saturday defeated his Republican rival Donald Trump in the US presidential election 2020. He has defeated Trump in a tough contest for the presidency. Addressing the nation after his victory in the presidential election, Biden vowed to unite the country, saying “now is the time to heal the wounds in America.” Joe Biden said, “I promise that I will not be a breaker but a connecting president.”
US President-elect Joe Biden said, “The people of this country have given us a clear victory. We have won the US presidential election with the highest number of votes ever. ” Joe Biden also reacted to the red-and-blue U.S. map of Democrats and Republicans in the election. He said, “I will be the president who does not look at the American provinces painted in red and blue, but looks at the whole of America. In his address, Joe Biden also mentioned his rival Donald Trump.

He said, “I can understand the frustration of all of you who voted for Trump. Let’s give each other a chance. This is the time to set aside sharp language or eloquence. Reduce the bitterness between you. We look at each other again, listen again.
“It’s time to heal the wounds in America,” Biden said. He said, “I am grateful to you for the trust you have shown in me.”
Amidst a roar of applause from the audience, the future President of the United States said, “During my tenure, I am committed to reviving the American spirit, re-strengthening the country’s backbone-middle class, enhancing America’s respect around the world and within the country.” I will work to unite us. ‘
Joe Biden also tweeted before his address. In it he wrote, ‘America, I am proud that you have chosen me to lead this great country. Our future work will be difficult, but I promise you that I will be the president of all Americans – whether you voted for me or not. ‘ I will stand by the trust you have placed in me. ‘
