New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 (BE/BTech) late last night, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of engineering aspirants across India. Candidates can now check their results and download their scorecards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, using their application number and password.
Record-Breaking Participation and Performance
This year, JEE Main saw a record 15.4 lakh registrations across both sessions, with over 14.75 lakh unique candidates actually appearing for the exam. The April session was conducted in nine shifts at 531 centers in 300 cities, including 15 international locations, from April 2 to April 9.
24 Students Secure Perfect 100 Percentile
The competition reached new heights as 24 students scored a perfect 100 percentile. Rajasthan continued its legacy as a powerhouse of engineering talent, with seven students achieving the top score. Maharashtra, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh each had three toppers, while West Bengal produced two. Notably, two female candidates Devdutta Majhi from West Bengal and Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh joined the elite 100 percentile club, reflecting growing gender diversity in STEM fields.

NTA has also released the category-wise cut-off for JEE Advanced eligibility:
- General: 93.10 percentile
- EWS: 80.38 percentile
- OBC: 79.43 percentile
- SC: 61.15 percentile
- ST: 47.90 percentile.

Exam Structure and Transparency
This year’s JEE Main was conducted in two sessions (January and April), with the best score considered for candidates who appeared in both. The final answer key was released on April 18, with two questions dropped candidates will receive full marks for these as per NTA policy. The NTA has also addressed concerns about answer key discrepancies, emphasizing a transparent and fair process.
