Mumbai: The trailer of Shaitan, the upcoming horror thriller film starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyotika, has been unveiled today 22 February, and it has already created a buzz among fans and critics. The film, directed by Vikas Bahl, is based on the Gujarati film Vash, which was a hit among audiences for its gripping story and terrifying scenes. Shaitan promises to be a Bollywood horror film like no other, with a stellar cast and a thrilling plot.

The trailer of Shaitan begins with a frantic phone call from Jyotika, who plays Ajay Devgn’s wife, to a police officer, pleading with him to come to her house as soon as possible, as someone is trying to kill her daughter. The scene then shifts to a flashback, where we see R Madhavan, who plays a mysterious stranger, entering Ajay Devgn’s house and befriending his daughter. He claims to be a distant relative and asks to stay for a while. However, his real motive is to perform black magic on the innocent girl and make her his puppet.

The trailer then shows the horrifying consequences of R Madhavan’s evil deeds, as the girl starts behaving strangely and violently, hurting herself and her parents. Ajay Devgn and Jyotika are shocked and helpless, as they witness their daughter being possessed by a dark force. They try to find a way to save her from the clutches of R Madhavan, who seems to have a sinister plan in mind.

Shaitan is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, who have previously collaborated with Ajay Devgn on films like Tanhaji, Drishyam, and Raid. The film also features Pallak Lalwani, Anngad Raaj, and Dhruv in supporting roles. The film is slated to release on March 8, 2024, and is expected to be a treat for horror lovers.
