Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Animal has finally dropped on the internet. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is a high-octane action thriller that explores the complex relationship between a father and a son.
The trailer, which is streaming on the official YouTube channel of Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, begins with a phone conversation between Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, who play the son and the father respectively. Ranbir Kapoor’s character, who is named Viraj, expresses his love and admiration for his father, Balbir Singh, but also reveals his dark and violent side. He says, “I love you, Dad. I love you more than anything in this world. But I am an animal. And I will kill you one day.”
The trailer then shows glimpses of the other characters in the film, including Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Geetanjali, Viraj’s wife, and Bobby Deol, who plays a cop named Surve. The film promises to be a gripping tale of love, betrayal, revenge, and redemption, with stunning action sequences and a powerful background score.
Animal, which is made on a budget of Rs 100 crore², is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The film will release in theatres on December 1, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures.
