Corona new

New Delhi: These days, continuous research work is going on on Coronavirus. Scientists are trying to find out how dangerous this virus named COVID-19 is or how much harm it is causing to the patients. In February this year, scientists named this new variant of Corona as the scientific name of SARS-CoV-2. It is being said that most of the Corona variants in India brought passengers from Europe and this is the biggest influence in the country. The Corona started from Wuhan in China, but after reaching different countries, this virus changed its color.

What else did the study reveal?
On Saturday, a report was placed in front of the Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, by the Department of Biotechnology. According to the information received, it has been said that most of the corona strains in India came from Europe and Saudi Arabia. However, in early January, some variants of Corona in India also came from China. The study also found that the D164G gene variant of SARS-Cov-2 is now decreasing slightly. This variant is mostly in Delhi and this is the reason why the transmission of Corona is declining here.

Benefit of lockdown
Scientists have also claimed that the lockdown has been greatly benefited across the country. Especially due to the lockdown between March and May, the corona virus could not spread. Actually, international and domestic flights were closed throughout the country. In such a situation, different variants of Corona could not spread in the country. Scientists also claimed that in a big country like India, Corona is impacting people in different ways.

Death rate reduction
The number of people who have been cured since Kovid-19 in the country has increased to 11 lakh, while the death rate due to this epidemic has reached 2.15 percent. Whereas in June this figure was 3.33 percent. The Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that since the first phase of lockdown was implemented in March, the death rate of Covid-19 in the country has come down for the first time. India is still maintaining the lowest Covid-19 death rate.
