New Delhi: After the cancellation of the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2020, the way of organizing the IPL 2020 was already cleared, but there was a question in the minds of the fans that the tournament will be held in India or abroad. Now IPL Governing Council Chairman Brijesh Patel has lifted the curtain from the venue of IPL. Brijesh Patel has made it clear in an interview that the IPL of the year 2020 will be held in the UAE. Brijesh Patel also said that the dates of the IPL are yet to be decided.

In a special conversation with the sports star, Brijesh Patel said that the IPL 2020 will be held in the UAE but the dates of the tournament have not been decided yet. Brijesh Patel informed that there will be a video meeting of the IPL Governing Council next week in which the dates and standard operating procedure will be decided on the tournament.

IPL schedule will be released after approval from the government

Brijesh Patel further said that the IPL 2020 schedule will be ready as soon as he gets the approval from the Government of India. It was believed that the IPL event would run from September 28 to November 8, although Brijesh Patel rejected it outright. He said that the schedule will be announced only after the meeting of the Governing Council. Brijesh Patel further said that UAE had offered us to organize IPL and now they will give information about organizing it there. But before that it will be necessary to give the IPL dates and complete schedule.

UAE has started preparations for IPL
Let us tell you that UAE (UAE) has already started preparations for IPL 2020. Salman Hanif, Head of Cricket Events of Dubai Sports City, had informed that he is preparing the facilities of the event in view of the IPL. Talking to Gulf News, Hanif said that Dubai Sports City, in which Dubai International Stadium and ICC Academy is ready for matches. Let there be 9 pitches in Dubai International Stadium, due to which there is no problem in preparing the pitch here.
