Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s health deteriorated, admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi: The health of former Prime Minister and Congress leader Manmohan Singh has worsened. He has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. Singh has been admitted to the hospital at 6.15 pm on Wednesday. He is in the Department of Cardiology.

According to media reports, before being admitted to the hospital, Manmohan Singh had a fever and complained of weakness. Due to this, he was taken to AIIMS.

On the other hand, Congress leader Pranav Jha said in a tweet that Manmohan Singh’s health is fine and he has reached AIIMS for routine treatment. Jha said that if there is a need to provide any update, then he will tell about it further.

Significantly, Manmohan Singh turned 89 on 26 September last month. He was infected with Corona on 19 April this year. After which he was admitted to AIIMS. During this, the then Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan himself was keeping information about his health. Singh was discharged on April 29 after recovering from Corona.

At the same time, in May last year too, Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS after complaining of chest pain. ANI had reported that he was monitored in the cardio ward of the hospital.
